Gnomonkey's opinion

  • Gnomonkey says scrapping Masori's low-life effect and making it effectively Pernix armour is the most boring way to make it good and kills the interesting dichotomy of Void being good against low defence and Armadyl against high.2
  • Gnomonkey says the old Masori needed tweaking but he had been bouncing around ideas of doing raids and the Inferno at 49 HP and found it an interesting set.2
  • Gnomonkey would have scrapped the dodge effect as Jagex did and also the amulet, and instead either made the armour instantly cap HP to 49 or scaled damage with missing HP (from about 80 down to 20 HP), though he does not think the current design is horrible.3
  • Gnomonkey calls the budget setup with Ahrim's/Bandos pieces for the raid bad looking, and says he cannot imagine doing the run without Ancestral.4
