Requirements

  • Making a Surge potion needs level 81 Herblore, demonic tallow (a new drop from the new boss), a Torstol, and a drop of your own blood, which makes it an untradeable potion.1

Methods

  • In RS3 you unlock the Surge ability (a dash) by completing the circus agility course, and that the XP from it is insane.2

Stats and numbers

  • A Surge potion lets you sip once every five minutes to restore 25% of your special attack energy.3
  • Jagex's blog suggests Surge potions would help during rage phases, clutch moments on low hit points, speedrunning, or to start every kill with a defence-reducing special attack.3
  • In the surge special Nightmare jumps into the ground and appears on an edge of the arena, then after a few ticks instantly jumps to the other side; standing in the area she runs through deals around 85 damage.4
  • A surge potion gives 25% special attack energy and you can only drink a dose every five minutes; in a 500 you get to use the whole potion, which Gnomonkey says is rare.5

Tips

  • Early in the RS3 account he unlocked teleports to Catherby, Taverley and Burthorpe via lodestones.6
