Topics covered
Tombs of Amascut
- (0:00) Gnomonkey completes a Tombs of Amascut solo at 500 raid level on stream, which the description calls the culmination of all his Raids 3 experience.
- (0:00) The room order Gnomonkey uses is Akkha first because he is the most RNG, Ba-Ba second because no salt is needed for him, Zebak third because he is the hardest and requires adrenaline and salt, and Kephri last because it is a free room.
- (28:08) Gnomonkey says he is still working on his Tombs of Amascut guide but that it is incredibly complex and customizable, so it is taking a while.
- (28:08) Gnomonkey says nobody has really speedrun a 500 invocation level raid yet and that at some point people will be speedrunning it.
- (28:08) Gnomonkey says in the 500 raid level run he had to avoid dying at any point after Akkha or he would end the stream, and notes sleep deprivation during the stream.
- (38:58) At 38:31 Gnomonkey notes he is at eight and a half minutes into the run and would get the world record if he completes it, and mentions aiming to finish in about 40 minutes.
- (50:51) Gnomonkey finishes the Wardens fight and checks his loot, hoping for a purple including the Lightbearer; the transcript does not state what drop he received.
Akkha
- (0:00) Gnomonkey says he places Akkha first because Akkha is the most RNG room of the raid.
- (1:27) A chat suggestion during the Akkha room is that you can avoid all damage during the middle special by walking one tile each time, which Gnomonkey confirms does work.
- (8:06) Gnomonkey says Akkha tends to make him a little bit kooky and says he just hates Akkha.
- (8:34) Gnomonkey notes the Akkha room took six minutes forty-five seconds, less than he thought.
Ba-Ba
- (8:53) Gnomonkey does Ba-Ba second because salt is not needed for him.
- (17:29) Gnomonkey says there is a bug or issue with Ba-Ba at this time that he hopes Jagex fixes, and that he also hopes they change it so Ba-Ba does not hit so hard through prayer.
- (17:47) Gnomonkey says that a red click keeps Ba-Ba in place, so both clicking the target and then clicking Ba-Ba are red clicks and Ba-Ba cannot move; then every four ticks he keeps Ba-Ba doing the shockwave attack by going underneath.
- (18:27) For one of Ba-Ba's attacks Gnomonkey pre-melees, and jokes that it works a hundred percent of the time, estimating the real success rate without brews in this room is not good.
Zebak
- (0:00) Gnomonkey says Zebak is the hardest room of the raid and requires adrenaline and salt, and the video description urges viewers to watch Zebak.
- (20:41) At the Zebak room Gnomonkey notes he needs two salts and is at level four invocation for the room, and he plays a song at the start of the fight.
- (27:40) Gnomonkey completes Zebak in under five minutes at the 500 raid level, which he says he has never seen before and could not do again if he tried.
- (28:13) In chat, someone recalls being there for the eight-minute Zebak, and Gnomonkey describes the sub-five Zebak as absurd.
Kephri
- (28:08) Gnomonkey does Kephri last because it is a free room.
- (29:13) Gnomonkey chooses Masori over Torva for the Kephri room, saying Torva does less for his max hits than Masori does for his ranged.
- (29:39) Gnomonkey notes extra salt and kept adrenaline going into Kephri, and uses salt there without needing to preserve any.
Osmumten's Fang
- (0:00) Gnomonkey says the Osmumten's Fang kit looks drop dead gorgeous.
- (30:57) Gnomonkey says Nex is definitely better money than Theatre of Blood now, with the Fang and how fast you can get kills and how much the drops are worth.
- (32:17) Gnomonkey says duo Nex with the Fang is very viable and that you will never use ranged at any scale, calling it much worse and saying it is absurd how fast you can duo with the Fang.
Masori armour
- (28:16) Gnomonkey calls the budget setup with Ahrim's/Bandos pieces for the raid bad looking, and says he cannot imagine doing the run without Ancestral.
- (29:46) Gnomonkey says Masori is the pick over Torva for ranged damage and that Torva should not be worth more than Masori, but there is demand for it.
- (30:50) Gnomonkey notes the Vernic item price is around 90 million GP when it arguably should not be.
The Wardens
- (36:00) Gnomonkey says he had died at the Wardens repeatedly that day, at a hundred health again, going there once more.
- (38:43) The Obelisk phase of the Wardens fight is shown from 38:43, followed by phase 2 at 41:36 and phase 3 at 45:38 in the 500 raid level run.
- (40:00) Gnomonkey says that before the Wardens fight you just need to be over seventy health, and while fighting he notes that he has infinite supplies so he can use whatever he needs to get it done.
