Summary
A guide to killing Kree'arra with an alt account (dolo) so the main can chinchompa the minions while the alt tanks and holds the boss still, avoiding the 2-ticks-on, 1-tick-off solo cycle. Gnomonkey says Kree'arra is by far the most profitable God Wars boss after the Masori armour announcement, about 280k per kill and roughly 6.65m gp/hr after chinchompa and rune costs at 30 kills per hour.

Topics covered
Kree'arra
- (0:00) Gnomonkey says Kree'arra (Armadyl) has always been one of the tougher God Wars Dungeon bosses: he has a lot of defence and you are forced to use ranged because melee attacks do not reach, so you cannot drain his defence.
- (0:00) As of March 2022, Kree'arra is by far the most profitable God Wars Dungeon boss because of the announcement of Masori armour breaking down Armadyl armour, which pushed the Armadyl armour top and bottom to about 80m total and gives about 9m gp/hr before chinchompa costs.
- (0:28) Solo Kree'arra is annoying because you need a 2-ticks-on, 1-tick-off attack cycle with your chinchompas to keep him from meleeing you; with an alt you bypass this mechanic, gain a small amount of extra DPS and bring enough supplies to finish an entire slayer task without leaving.
- (5:29) Kree'arra has a weird mechanic like Mystics at the Chambers of Xeric: a melee mode and a range/mage mode; whenever he is not being attacked, after a random time he decides to melee you and moves towards you.
- (6:28) Kree'arra melee is incredibly accurate and maxes at 26, but you must keep Protect from Missiles up since his ranged maxes at 69, which is the alt's primary purpose.
- (6:28) To start, hop until you find a world, pray Preserve, Protect from Missiles and Rigor on both accounts, have the alt pot share a Divine bastion potion to the main, then enter the room on both accounts.
- (6:55) First kill: run to the bottom-left corner and have the alt start shooting Kree'arra when he gets close, then chinchompa the melee minion when it shows up; after it dies, twisted bow Kree'arra until he falls.
- (6:55) As a rule of thumb the alt gets all the bones for Bones to Peaches while the main uses Blood barrage to heal; dump blowpipe specs whenever you need HP; juggle manta rays or potatoes from minions, as dry periods with no food drops can happen.
- (7:24) Hit the altar whenever possible, have the alt pot share prayer doses if the main needs prayer, and re-pot share a Divine bastion when at about a +9 boost, which varies with how many ranged potion drops you get.
- (7:24) For every kill after the first, both players stand in the bottom-left corner; when the alt attacks Kree'arra he immediately stops where he is, which is abused: when he spawns and moves about three tiles, the alt tags him to stop him over the ranged minion so the main can chinchompa that minion in a two-tick window.
- (7:55) If the tag window is missed, stop attacking Kree'arra and let him approach fully then chinchompa the melee minion; when the ranged minion dies, the alt stops attacking until he starts approaching again and re-tags him while the main chins the melee minion, so almost the entire kill is chinned and only rarely do the two minions fail to kill him, forcing twisted bow use.
- (8:28) Watch both accounts' HP and eat below 40 HP to avoid being comboed; usually only the main takes real damage, and after the kill the main dumps pipe specs and barrages.
- (8:41) If the melee minion is still alive it stays aggressive to whoever it was on permanently; if it is on the alt, pray melee after Kree'arra dies and have the alt move under the mage minion so you can barrage both on the main; taking armour off can help barrages land on the mage minion.
- (8:56) Do not leave the main room without Protect from Missiles on the alt, since the aviansies outside are aggressive due to the alt unequipping its crossbow occasionally; ideally just teleport out via Clan Wars.
- (8:56) Kree'arra's drops are the Armadyl helmet, chestplate, legs and the Armadyl hilt, and the money is in the chestplate and legs; a kill was worth 280,000 gp according to the OSRS Wiki, and Gnomonkey got 30 kills per hour at peak efficiency, or about 8.4m gp/hr.
- (9:29) For a 39-kill task Gnomonkey used 750 black chinchompas and 1,200 blood runes, about 20 chinchompas and 31 blood runes per kill (60k in supplies per kill), cutting profit by 1.75m to roughly 6.65m gp/hr.
- (9:57) The Kree'arra pet is 1 in 5,000 like the other God Wars Dungeon bosses; Gnomonkey calls it one of the coolest and rarest pets, just behind the Zamorak pet and his own favourite God Wars pet.
Kree'arra
- (0:48) Gnomonkey says you really should have 99 Ranged to do Kree'arra, as it is too big a DPS increase and too easy to get; he also wants 96 Prayer for the maximum prayer potion boost, 92 Magic for Blood barrage (higher is better for defence) and 90+ Defence since the main tanks the melee and mage minions.
- (1:06) A Max cape is quite beneficial on the main if maxed; otherwise a Fletching cape is beneficial and saves an inventory spot.
- (1:06) The alt wants 90+ Defence and Magic (minimum 84 Magic for Pot Share), 75 Ranged to wield a blowpipe (higher is better), Barrows gloves unlocked as the tankiest gloves, and Rigor with a minimum of 74 Prayer, as Rigor is important for both defence and damage.
- (1:46) The main wears max ranged gear with Zaryte vambraces and an Assembler, which gives chinchompas a max hit at max ranged boost, with a buckler; a twisted bow is nice but realistically barely used over a trip, and an Armadyl crossbow is also fine.
- (2:00) Gnomonkey says a twisted bow is 55% worse DPS than chinning the minions, so it is not used instead of chinchompas, and that the Bow of Faerdhinen actually beats the twisted bow by 1% here.
- (2:00) Because the minions' and Kree'arra's magical damage roll off your ranged defence instead of Magic, Crystal armour provides superior defence, though it burns crystal shards fast; it is a solid use for a big stack of shards from the Gauntlet or Zalcano.
- (2:31) The main also brings a blowpipe filled with dragon darts for the minions (serpentine-style specs heal you more), and a Kodai wand or any staff giving a 15% damage boost (the Nightmare staff works the same) for Blood barrage.
- (2:31) Ecumenical keys are effectively necessary at Kree'arra for killcount, since with an aviansie slayer task your options for killcount are limited to avoid wasting task kills; Gnomonkey uses ecumenical keys on the main and gets killcount on the alt, who has no task.
- (3:00) The main's inventory has two Divine bastion potions, lots of prayer potions with one emergency brew and restore, four anglerfish in case Blood barrage cannot heal to full, a God Wars teleport hilt (dropped to hold coin drops; Trollheim tabs also work), Bones to Peaches tabs, an imbued heart, and a rune pouch with Blood barrage runes, blood, death and soul runes.
- (3:31) Gnomonkey takes around 1,000 black chinchompas for a task and finished a 160-aviansie task with 250 left; take only roughly what you need since they are lost on death, and he does not bring an Explorer's ring because alchables at Kree'arra are rarer and under 10k each.
- (3:31) Crystal dust can be good if you get excess ranged potions so you can make divine potions, even better with Zaryte vambraces to keep the max hit.
- (3:57) Gnomonkey's alt setup is a very strange one: absolute max tank gear with Justiciar, Fury (blood fury works), Guardian boots, Barrows gloves, Ring of suffering, an Armadyl crossbow with diamond dragon bolts, and a good tank shield; the Elysian is best in slot, but he sold his for Torva and uses a Dragonfire shield, the next best.
- (4:29) Diamond bolts are guaranteed to hit when they proc (they can still roll zero but always pass accuracy), so even with very negative ranged attack the alt does decent damage but never snipes kills; the alt regains HP only from Bones to Peaches, food drops and pipe specs.
- (4:29) Gnomonkey says a Zaryte crossbow on the alt is barely better than an Armadyl crossbow and not an armour item, so he would just use the Armadyl crossbow even if he had a Zaryte crossbow.
- (4:58) The alt's inventory has a blowpipe, three Divine bastion potions, eight restores, nine anglerfish, two emergency brews, an ecumenical key if you have one, a Trollheim tab, a Mithril grapple to cross the dungeon, a stack of Bones to Peaches tabs (usable without the spell unlocked), and a rune pouch with earth, water and astral runes while on Lunars; an imbued heart is nice but not required.
- (5:26) To get killcount on the alt instead of using keys, trade his gear to the main and have him wear regular ranged gear with an Armadyl item and blowpipe, pray ranged and tag about ten aviansies; make sure the Gorak gets stuck so it cannot hit the alt, then give the alt back his gear and a full inventory of food.
- (5:26) When crossing the grapple, you can search a Max cape or Fletching cape for the crossbow and grapple; drop food on each side to cross, and note the grapple can break so you may need to search for another; hide behind a wall on both accounts while looking for a world, and make sure the alt is on Lunars before setting out.
Masori armour
- (0:00) The announcement of Masori armour, which breaks down Armadyl armour, made Armadyl armour pieces skyrocket in price in early 2022, according to Gnomonkey.
