Stats and numbers

  • Jagex says Mortimer should become the new best Slayer master for the imbued heart, estimating 65 to 80 hours at the top end once his third task selection is unlocked, compared with the current meta of 80 to 100 hours using Turael skipping for Araxytes and smoke devils at Duradel.1
  • Jagex expects players to still do their fair share of Araxytes and smoke devils on Mortimer, completing fast tasks in between and occasionally selecting a task with a superior modifier active.2

Tips

  • It is impossible to splash on the Nightmare totems even with negative magic attack, so magic accuracy bonuses are irrelevant for that phase.3
