Stats and numbers

  • The Bopper maces are about 20% worse than a scythe on The Hueycoatl, which he calls not that much worse.1
  • The Bopper set is only good with the full Blood moon set because the set effect makes it a three-tick attack, boosting damage a lot.2
  • The full Blood moon set gives a 33% chance to attack one tick earlier on a successful hit, allowing another attack after three ticks instead of four; both hits count independently, giving a five in nine chance, for roughly a 3.5 tick attack speed.3

Tips

  • If you do not have Bopper maces but have glacial hammers, they are very similar and a solid alternative; Boppers alone can be used for the whole kill.4
  • On an ironman he would first kill sulphur nagas without a double-hit weapon until getting Sulphur blades, possibly take them to the frost nagas, then use glacial hammers, and eventually go to the Boppers by doing Moons.5
  • Blood moon with the Bopper maces is best in slot for sulphur nagas even in max gear.6
