Contents

Stats and numbers

  • Using the Gear Scape-style max-hit comparison on Inferno monsters, Gnomonkey found Deadeye was roughly 4.4% to 5.3% worse DPS than Rigour on Inferno monsters (4.4% on bats and blobs, 5% on Jal-Xil/Jaz, 5.3% on Zuk).1
  • Deadeye drains prayer at half the rate of Rigour but gives 5% worse DPS, according to Gnomonkey.2

Tips

  • Because Deadeye drains so little prayer, Gnomonkey says it can be left on while tanking multiple enemies instead of avoiding turning it on, though he still would not camp it the whole time.3

Gnomonkey's opinion

  • Gnomonkey said you can camp Deadeye without qualms much more often than Rigour, and noted he barely used any prayer restores during the run.4
  • Gnomonkey decided to leave Deadeye on for probably the rest of the run when reaching the Jad wave.5
  • After using it through to Zuk, Gnomonkey concluded that Deadeye worked really well and felt very similar to Rigour, so you definitely do not need Rigour for the Inferno.6

Records

  • Gnomonkey said the damage on the Zuk healers with Deadeye was the best he had ever had on healers in all of his teaching streams.7

Events

  • The Royal Titans update added upgraded prayers including Deadeye, which Gnomonkey wanted to test in the Inferno alongside the Bow of Faerdhinen.8
