Requirements
- Barrows gloves come from the Recipe for Disaster quest and are not best in slot for magic; the Tormented bracelet is.1
Stats and numbers
- Barrows gloves are not a huge upgrade over blessed d'hide vambraces for Ranged, offering only +1 ranged attack and some defensive stats.2
- Barrows gloves give +6 magic attack versus a combat bracelet's +3, so they do not help magic much.3
Gnomonkey's opinion
- Gnomonkey says Barrows gloves are actually the best in slot for Ranged, and require completing Recipe for Disaster, a quest with pretty high requirements.4
- Gnomonkey says Barrows gloves are great for all setups and that he would rush them on any account he makes.2
- Gnomonkey recommends getting Barrows gloves fairly quickly anyway because they are incredibly good for other combat styles and bridge the gap until you can afford the Tormented bracelet.3
