Methods

  • In the Challenge Mode Thieving room Gnomonkey dumps after collecting about 15 grubs and keeps the creature fed so it cannot regenerate health; after 30 total grubs dumped the room is done.1
  • Gnomonkey deposits around 15 grubs in the chests at a time if you have lower Thieving, and the grub counter shows the total deposited; the room is done at 30 total.2
  • In the Thieving room you give grubs to the scavenger; he eats 30 worms before he gets out of your way, and if he stops eating he starts healing, so keep feeding him.3

Stats and numbers

  • Grubs now stack in the Chambers thieving room, and the number of grubs you get depends on your Thieving level, so higher Thieving gives more grubs per steal.4
  • With his Thieving he gets two grubs every time and sometimes three, whereas lower Thieving gets one and sometimes two, and he thinks 95 is the breakpoint.2

Tips

  • The only real skill in the Thieving room is banking properly afterward, banking his harmstaff, tome, hammer, scythe, Max cape and stamina and pulling out axe, pickaxe, mace, brews and a Kodai potion.1
  • A lockpick is really good for the Thieving room if you do not have a high Thieving level, and with his high Thieving he is guaranteed at least two grubs each time.5
