Triple Jad is a mechanic topic that Gnomonkey covers in 4 videos between 2022-07-22 and 2024-10-03. This article is a stub: his statements are grouped by type, repeated ones merged.

Methods

  • Gnomonkey stands at a specific triple Jad pillar tile and has already potted divine; he says you can overbrew to 115 if it is your first time at triples, since he believes they max 113 and so can't kill you.1

Stats and numbers

  • Triple Jads have three ticks per attack, which is a ton of time, so you do one action per attack: one click to attack and one click to pray against the next attack.2
  • The max hit from a Jad is 113, so you cannot be killed when brewed up to 115 hitpoints, though he is not fully sure.3
  • Jad attacks every three ticks in the triple fight, so you have loads of time and only need one action per attack.4
  • In triple Jads you have 1.8 seconds per prayer, which Gnomonkey says is the exact same as regular Jad, only faster: do one action per prayer catch and one tag per prayer on healers.5

Tips

  • To start triples at a specific tile, always start triples there, and to prepot a brew and restore and click a divine before logging out so they respawn when you log back in.2
  • You can camp Rigor for triples if you have over four restores.6
  • As soon as a projectile is on screen, switch to the next prayer.7
  • You want 99 health before triple Jad and that the order for triples is to kill the Jad next to you first, after which the order does not matter.8
  • Gnomonkey recommends pre-brewing before triples on your first attempt, which takes you up to 115 health, because they cannot kill you when overbrewed.8
  • You can tag healers with Bow of Faerdhinen, which is a little safer, and that for the last Jad he likes to stand a bit further up, hoping for pre-lured healers.9
  • Zebak at level three enrage (level two or higher) has the same three-tick timing as triple Jad, so you can practise on him by running in with Pathfinder, getting him to 25% and stopping.10
  • If you miss a prayer swap on a Jad hit you can tick-eat (a brew) to survive, and that triples are actually much easier than waves 62 or 63.11
  • Gnomonkey prefers standing on the side of Jad that makes the healer tag a lot easier, and that it is ideal because more often than not it gives the highest chance of the healers being blocked.12
  • He wants to save two Divine bastion doses before triple Jads: one for triples and one for Zuk.13
  • The pillar that goes down at the end of a wave halves your health if you are standing next to it.14
  • To stand on a tile where healers cannot reach melee range of Jad, because then they will not heal him and you do not need to tag them, and the tile also corner traps a Jad so you take no damage.15

Gnomonkey's opinion

  • Gnomonkey says the only way you die to triples is bad nerves or trying to explain something to a bunch of people, and says talking out loud helps some people.7
  • Gnomonkey says healers is easy and you can kill the Jads in any order, which is all preference.16
  • Gnomonkey says triple Jads is incredibly easy and one of the easiest parts of the Inferno, much easier than the waves before it.5
