Methods

  • Inside, kill all the goblins in the little area for killcount; Bandos is the fastest killcount of any God Wars Dungeon boss, and the attacker can speed it up by running around shooting goblins with the Bow of Faerdhinen.1
  • After getting killcount, get a hammer by killing a goblin near the door; if your inventory is full, drop a piece of food, take the hammer through the door, drop food on the other side, return for your food, drop the hammer and pick up your full supplies. Both players should have killcount and be at the boss door on an empty world.1

Stats and numbers

  • The Dagannoth Kings' pets are each 1 in 5,000, each their own pet, though they can still be farmed quickly with an alt.2
  • God Wars Dungeon pets are all 1 in 5,000 drops and very rare; Gnomonkey calls Bandos the worst God Wars pet and puts it in B tier as the most common one.3

Tips

  • The best way to reach the Bandos area is a combat achievement hilt (God Wars teleport); even the Easy Diary hilt gives three teleports a day to the boulder, and a chipped house tablet to Trollheim also works but is slower.4
  • Gnomonkey suggests collecting a pile of hilt teleports so you can drop them to pick up drops at Bandos, or dropping food at the teleport location, banking and returning; he personally prefers to leave an inventory space open for loot.4

Gnomonkey's opinion

  • Gnomonkey ranks Kree'arra's pet the second best God Wars pet (A tier), a giant flapping bird that will play dead and disappear for about five seconds if you talk to it.5
  • Gnomonkey ranks Zilyana's pet third among God Wars pets, in A tier, finding it funny that she is a little human following you around.6
  • Gnomonkey puts the Zamorak pet in S tier: it is red with spikes coming out, the rarest God Wars pet and one of the rarest pets in the game, which he thinks is number five for most people who obtained it.7
