Contents

Requirements

  • Suqah have no requirements to fight, but to be assigned them the player needs to have progressed Lunar Diplomacy up to getting to the island.1

Methods

  • The fastest way to the Suqah is a lunar teleport portal at a player-owned house; Gnomonkey instead uses Fremennik sea boots and takes the boat to Lunar Isle, and a lyre or Relleka house teleport also work.2
  • On arrival Gnomonkey drops his cannon on a specific tile, drinks his divine super combat, and turns on piety and protect from magic.3

Stats and numbers

  • Suqah give a clean 60k Slayer XP an hour, but their only drops are from the rare drop table.1
  • Suqah tasks from Duradel are incredibly short, each taking about ten minutes, and have a weight of eight, so they come up fairly often.1
  • Gnomonkey got 60k Slayer XP an hour on Suqah, which he calls incredibly good compared with most cannon tasks, but the loot was two rubies, about 6k gp.4

Tips

  • Suqah can smack you around quite a bit, so you may need more food with worse defensive gear.5
  • Suqah randomly use magic attacks that do little damage but freeze the player, which is annoying, so Gnomonkey protects from magic.3
  • Gnomonkey recommends grabbing some Suqah teeth on a first task, as they are used to protect spirit trees from disease.3

Gnomonkey's opinion

  • Gnomonkey says you do not do Suqah tasks for the loot but the incredible XP easily makes up for it.4

Records

  • A task of 67 Suqah took Gnomonkey eight minutes, which he says is definitely one of the shorter tasks in the game.4
