Methods

  • Gnomonkey uses Ice Barrage as the main mage switch because enough magic bonus guarantees landing a freeze on all the war band, giving him time to think and deal with spawns.1
  • Gnomonkey brought an Ellie (Elidinis' Ward or similar) to tank at the start and a Venator bow to pick off the Frem mage after freezing.1
  • Gnomonkey heals mainly with Blood Fury or Blood Barrage, and also brings a Saradomin godsword spec to restore health.2

Tips

  • Anything outside the arena cannot be dragged into melee range so it must be dealt with using mage.3
  • Missing a flick is extremely dangerous because the player is in robes much of the time with basically no ranged defence; a Jaguar hit can one-shot, and a double javelin hit can do roughly 90 damage.4
  • Gnomonkey tries to get 99 health every wave because a lot of hits are taken off spawn.5
  • Brews will not save you if you are tanking hits of about 50 every tick.6
  • Gnomonkey deals first with things he cannot heal off, mageing NPCs outside the arena and then killing the ones he can drag in, similar to Inferno.7
  • Starting a wave without full health is very bad, and Gnomonkey avoids brewing because supplies are limited, saving super combats more than brews.8
  • Gnomonkey likes picking javelins off early because their javelin toss is annoying, and it is nice to stand still and just flick prayers.9

  • Gnomonkey says supplies are not the issue in the run; the issue is not getting stacked out by 50 hits at a time.2
