Snakeling is a mechanic topic that Gnomonkey covers in 2 videos between 2025-04-24 and 2025-05-07. This article is a stub: his statements are grouped by type, repeated ones merged.

Methods

  • Gnomonkey colour-codes snakelings with the radius markers plugin, importing a pastebin string linked in the description.1

Stats and numbers

  • Zulrah's snakelings are randomly 50-50 either a melee snakeling or a mage snakeling; Gnomonkey says you can avoid mage snakeling damage almost entirely, and the melee ones are the ones that hit you.1
  • With the Bandos melee defence, melee snakelings sometimes struggle to hit you.2

Tips

  • Snakelings will hit hard if you forget to wear your recoil ring after it breaks.3
  • Gnomonkey flicks on the Ring of recoil to kill melee snakelings and otherwise leaves the recoil on unless attacking with the Bellator ring.4
  • You should not shield flick unless none of the snakelings are melee ones.5
  • To import the snakeling radius markers (pastebin linked in the description), as snakelings are either mage or melee and mage ones are unlikely to hit you.6
