Methods

  • One-tick alternating means swapping prayers every game tick so you take no damage from a blob, and you can do it even when the blob and a ranger are far away; it works always.1
  • Wait for the ranger's attack animation to start, then swap prayers every game tick, which dodges both the ranger and the blob.2
  • Gnomonkey's tip for keeping a one-tick alternate is to keep both prayers lit at the same time and click as soon as the last prayer unlights so you never lose timing.3

Tips
