Methods

  • In the Colosseum, if the player is too close to a spawn point, mobs will not spawn there; a red radius shows the area around the character where spawns are blocked, and grey tiles are spawn points.1
  • Colosseum spawns will not spawn next to the player, in a radius around the character model, so standing in the B5 tile area pushes spawns away and guarantees they spawn in a certain area.2

Tips

  • Gnomonkey used B5's spawn tile in the Colosseum to manipulate monster spawns into being easier to deal with.3
  • B5's tile blocks the majority of spawns and allows rotation to the closed pillar, giving much easier spawns to deal with.1
  • The B5 tiles allow you to stack things much better, so starting waves on them is best.2
  • Gnomonkey defaults to the south pillar tile because a second spawn comes out of the gate and a melee coming out of that gate walks and gets stuck behind the pillar, which does not happen on the north pillar.4
  • Gnomonkey keeps the other tile only for when permanent Reentry has damaged the south pillar tile very badly, in which case you can move to the other pillar; he says you want to hang out on the south pillar whenever possible.5

  • Gnomonkey says the south-west pillar is the best because it blocks the most spawns.6
