Methods

  • Minotaurs seem to fully heal other mobs when their centre tile sees the mob's centre tile, so you need to deal with them.1
  • Colosseum Minotaurs only melee, so you can pray melee against them, but as a replacement for their attack they fully heal anything in range.2
  • A Minotaur only heals enemies that are damaged, as Gnomonkey believes below 20% or more of their max health, so you have to hit them hard for the heal to matter.3
  • A Minotaur heal block (mage block) is done by letting a Shaman see you from a spot that puts the Minotaur in front of the mage every time; Gnomonkey watches his timer, hits once, stands there praying mage, then moves back out of the way.4

Stats and numbers

  • If the Minotaur heals, it goes on a 10-tick delay from the instant it heals, like an 8-tick mage respawn delay in the Inferno, making it incredibly hard to off-tick.5

Tips

  • With Minotaurs you can come down one tile and completely avoid the Solar Flare orb.1
  • Gnomonkey drags enemies into the pillar side the Minotaur cannot see, so he can kill them without the Minotaur healing them.6
  • A Minotaur coming right over can be safe spotted behind a pillar, according to Gnomonkey.7
  • To avoid a Minotaur's heal, stay within its melee range because it will then always attack you instead of healing; also if you have the Minotaur corner-trapped on your diagonal, it will not heal.3
  • Whenever a Minotaur is present, Gnomonkey kills a low HP target and then stops hitting things so the Minotaur does not heal.5
  • On wave 9 Gnomonkey swaps to mage and puts the Minotaur behind the javelin so he does not have to deal with it, using all the tools in his tool belt.8
  • Wave 10 is the first wave with a Minotaur plus a serpent shaman, so both must be off-ticked while making sure the Minotaur does not heal.9
