Requirements

  • Growing crystal trees requires access to Prifddinas (the elf city), 74 Farming and 70+ Herblore to mix potions with the shards.1

Methods

  • To get a crystal acorn, trade Pennant, the farmer next to the crystal tree patch, a crystal seed; weapon seeds are currently far cheaper than other options at around 30k.1
  • The acorn is planted in a plant pot and watered like any sapling, then planted in the crystal tree patch, where it needs neither compost nor protection.2
