Methods

  • Gnomonkey does not look at each Jad individually. He camps Protect from Missiles by default, and when a Jad stands up to attack he times a mage swap for that attack and swaps back, so he only has to pay attention to roughly half of the Jad attacks.1

Stats and numbers

  • In the main game the Jads attack 8 ticks apart with a 2-tick break at the end of their rotation cycle, while the Jads in the Infinite Jad Challenge are in a rapid, continuous cycle with no breaks and no catching up.2
  • In Leagues there is a game mode for 1 to 6 Jads plus the Infinite Jad Challenge with all 6 Jads, meaning the player must flick prayers against 6 Jads non-stop for hours.2
  • Gnomonkey estimated that reaching 1,000 Jads would take him roughly over three and a half hours.3

Gnomonkey's opinion

  • Gnomonkey calls the 1,000 Jad run by far the hardest challenge he has ever done, harder than Pillarless Coliseum, Solo Hard Mode Theatre of Blood and any world first race, and describes it as mental anguish.4
