Requirements

  • In the Clue Scroll Raider challenge, all gear must come from clues as an item; items from implings or the Grand Exchange are not allowed, though implings can be opened to obtain clues.1
  • The challenge has a three-hour timer to complete clues; after that no more clues may be completed. Supplies are completely allowed.1
  • Ammo is allowed if it drops from clues, but Gnomonkey allowed amethyst arrows because no arrows drop from any clue.1

  • Gnomonkey wanted the following from elite clues: DDS, rune crossbow, dragon mace/longsword, rune armour again and dragonstone jewellery.2

Gnomonkey's opinion

  • Gnomonkey says he did not do 'dragon' clues because he is poor, saying that is 20 mil a clue.1
  • Gnomonkey determined that elite clues are the most useful tier to complete because of all the weapons, while hard clues offer bows, rune armour, black dragonhide and a rune pickaxe, and master clues offer dragon weaponry.2

Events

  • For the SubTember challenge, Gnomonkey was challenged to complete raids using only Clue Scroll gear, which had to be obtained within 3 hours from his own clue rewards.1
  • The farmer's hat step for Elite clues was impossible because he does not own the hat, and he did not end up getting that step.3
  • Per the video description, the Master casket dropping dragon longswords and later picking up a dragon mace helped, as did the magic shortbow and the full set of dragonhide pieces he got.4

Trivia

  • Gnomonkey's chat pointed out that crystal dust cannot be obtained from clues, so the Chambers run technically breaks the rules, and he agreed.5
