Topics covered

Tombs of Amascut

  • (0:00) Gnomonkey attempts a 1000 invocation solo Tombs of Amascut in Leagues 5 as his yearly 'mega' ToA with the new ranged combat focus relics.
  • (0:00) He completes the 1000 invocation ToA in 32 minutes 30 seconds without tier 7 mastery.
  • (0:57) Gnomonkey thinks a 1000 invocation ToA without tier 8 should be doable, and that Ba-Ba is not an issue at all even though you would expect it to be.
  • (1:30) He does the 1000 invocation raid with full dragon gear and a dragon crossbow, and learns that damage scales with invocation level, which he had not known.
  • (3:25) Gnomonkey says he took more damage in the puzzle room than in the boss room, and that his tank gear gives him 260 crush defence.
  • (6:49) Gnomonkey notes that Leagues 5 ToA at 1000 invocations is a special hard-mode challenge, with everything having much higher stats than in the main game.
  • (19:05) In the description, Gnomonkey says that after invocation level 700 all purples in solo are guaranteed, so pushing past it felt kind of lackluster.
  • (20:06) At the end of the 1000 invocation raid he gets a mega raid ticket reward that turns out to be purple, and is unhappy about the roll.

Leagues V: Raging Echoes

  • (0:00) Gnomonkey says this is one of his last Leagues videos and that he is done with Leagues and returning to his Hardcore Ironman, which has the same progression as the one that died and will be grinding Barrows and Moons shortly.
  • (0:00) Gnomonkey says he thinks Leagues 5 was the best Leagues yet and that Jagex should continue to refine and do more PvM-related Leagues events.
  • (0:00) Gnomonkey says he had not unlocked his final combat mastery, which he thinks hurt his 1000 invocation attempt.
  • (4:53) Gnomonkey says that with the Leagues 5 tier six ranged relic and a ranged weapon equipped, all spells are 100% accurate, including Ice Barrage.
  • (7:17) Chat suggests making an account built around total 1000 invocation raids with no combat mastery; Gnomonkey says he would be bored doing it and that it would mostly be banker's note plus redemption-style tricks.
  • (15:34) Gnomonkey says the melee relic would be strong on the Warden's core but not on phase 2.

Zaryte crossbow

  • (0:00) Gnomonkey says many ranged builds in Leagues 5 use the Zaryte crossbow 'bug' where you brew to 0 stats and spam Zaryte crossbow specs without losing spec energy.
  • (0:00) Gnomonkey chose not to use the Zaryte crossbow spec bug because it sounds boring, though he acknowledges it is another way to annihilate ToA at high invocations.
  • (0:00) Gnomonkey thinks that with a Twisted bow and better gear than he had, a 1000 invocation ToA could easily be done in time.

Akkha

  • (4:53) Gnomonkey says you cannot freeze Akkha and thinks he may be straight-up immune to Ice Barrage.
  • (5:49) At 1000 invocations Gnomonkey faces a level 6 Akkha, which he expects to be interesting.
  • (5:49) Gnomonkey says Kephri's medic invocation is the main time waster in the path rooms, and that he was unsure he would make time.

Zebak

  • (5:23) Gnomonkey gets a level three Zebak at 1000 invocations, which he says is very rare.
  • (6:49) He gets a rare boulder pattern on the front boulders in Zebak's room, which he says he has otherwise only seen on the second set about ten times.
  • (6:49) Gnomonkey kills a Perfect Zebak at 1000 invocations.

The Wardens

  • (8:44) The 1000 invocation Warden fight gets close for Gnomonkey, who has to figure out the right tick and resorts to tick eating to survive.
  • (12:05) Gnomonkey says he just has to make it to the core phase of the Warden and then it is winnable.
  • (14:33) Gnomonkey notes that ranged does work on the Warden, which he was not sure about beforehand, and uses Vengeance for overkill.
  • (17:04) For the Warden's skulls, Gnomonkey tries a weapon with delay, which means shooting the far-away skulls first, then the close one, while also dodging boulders; he finds it a poor fit.
  • (18:34) Gnomonkey notes that you cannot Vengeance the skulls.

Gnomonkey

  • (0:00) Gnomonkey plans to return to the Hardcore Ironman he had been AFKing on the side, starting with Barrows and Moons, after finishing Leagues 5.
  • (0:00) Gnomonkey says he does a 1000 invocation mega ToA every year.
