Topics covered

Tombs of Amascut

  • (0:00) Gnomonkey and his group hardcore ironman team complete their first 300-invocation Tombs of Amascut raid in this video, after he got a Quiver; the stated goal is to farm 300 invocation raids until he gets gear for the team.
  • (0:00) For a low-gear Tombs of Amascut run Gnomonkey considers turning Aerial off because of run energy, and he says he cannot take Overly Draining because he needs the Dragon dagger (DDS) special attack; he also considers turning Acceleration off.
  • (1:33) Gnomonkey notes you get two salts in the Tombs of Amascut without any supply invocations, and he chooses Life as his second path for the raid because Life is effectively infinite restores by the time he reaches the Warden.
  • (2:01) Gnomonkey says you take a ridiculous amount of damage in the Tombs of Amascut monkey room, and expects the majority of the raid's supply use to come from that room.
  • (6:32) Gnomonkey's team did the 300 raid with the Akkha Simon Says phase duration set to 4, and he notes they do fail DPS checks on that phase.
  • (6:45) Gnomonkey says taking the Chaos path with only one salt is never going to be okay for him, so he wants two salts before taking Chaos and otherwise takes Power.
  • (11:26) Gnomonkey does Zebak in this run with no prayer and no food, and warns never to stand on one particular tile.
  • (22:12) The team's first 300 raid had a 20-minute Warden fight, an 11 and a half minute Akkha and a 4:10 monkey room (as he reads them off); Gnomonkey says Akkha felt like an hour.
  • (22:12) After the clear Gnomonkey says he still needs 23 points for the next reward threshold and notes the many combat achievements the raid completed.
  • (22:47) The raid gave no unique despite a 4.7% unique chance; Gnomonkey took five of one useful-sounding item (read as 'five D meds') and nothing else of use, and not even a pouch.

The Wardens

  • (13:07) Before the Warden fight Gnomonkey brings six brews, five restores and an Ambrosia and calls the fight a 'Life angle'.
  • (13:37) In Warden phase 1 on a 300 raid Gnomonkey plans to tank damage down to roughly 50 health, then heal, using a bone dagger special attack plus several DDS hits and then swapping to a crossbow.
  • (14:10) Gnomonkey says Silk dressing heals 5 every 5 ticks, 20 times, for a total of 100 health.
  • (15:50) Gnomonkey says he is glad he turned off the Acceleration invocation for the Warden because otherwise he would have to flick; with it off he does not have to flick at all.
  • (17:54) Gnomonkey says Skull Skip is free and safe in the Warden fight as long as you leap one skull.
  • (18:35) In the Warden fight Gnomonkey uses the crossbow basically the whole time, and uses a Bone dagger special attack in phase 4 for the content.
  • (22:12) Gnomonkey's team took 20 minutes to kill the Warden in this first 300 raid.

Akkha

  • (6:50) Gnomonkey calls Akkha the room he is most worried about in a low-gear 300 raid.
  • (7:39) Gnomonkey calls the two-down obelisk phase at Akkha the scariest phase, and says dual maces would not be better than main hand DPS plus a partisan because they are inaccurate.
  • (8:12) The Akkha Simon Says duration was set to 4 in this raid and the team failed DPS checks at that setting.
  • (22:12) Akkha took 11 and a half minutes in this raid, which Gnomonkey says felt like an hour.

Ba-Ba

  • (2:31) Gnomonkey says the quiver glitch makes the early raid annoying because the ammo in the quiver cannot be used with his crossbow, so he has to keep pulling it out; Ba-Ba itself is completely free.
  • (4:44) Gnomonkey plans to use a Bone dagger special attack on Ba-Ba after the swarms.
  • (5:41) Gnomonkey says Kephri's room is not a problem at all compared to Ba-Ba's room in this 300 raid.

Group Hardcore Ironman

  • (0:00) This video is part of Gnomonkey's group hardcore ironman series; the 300-invocation Tombs of Amascut clear was done with low stats and poor gear.
  • (0:00) In the video description Gnomonkey says the raid was more difficult than he thought with such low stats and 'dogwater' gear.
  • (0:00) Per the description, the group's next goals are for Saebae to get a Scorching bow, to hit K'ril Tsutsaroth for Zamorakian hastae, or for Gnomonkey to get a Fang; Piety and more Blood moon or Ahrim's gear are his next goals.

Bone dagger

  • (0:30) Gnomonkey brings a Bone dagger to Tombs of Amascut for its special attack, using it on bosses such as Ba-Ba and the Warden.
  • (13:37) On the Warden, Gnomonkey uses the Bone dagger special and then DDS hits several times before swapping to the crossbow.
