Mutated zygomite

  • (0:00) Gnomonkey says zygomites are one of the shortest tasks in the game and worth doing just for the Slayer points, with pitiful drops and only around 15k Slayer XP an hour.

Fungicide spray

  • (0:29) A few fungicide sprays must be bought from a Slayer master; the other similar items sold only refill the sprayer, which Gnomonkey does not bother with since sprays are only 100 GP each.
  • (0:29) The shroom sprayer unlock costs 110 Slayer points from a Slayer master and automatically kills zygomites at low health; Gnomonkey says it is probably the last thing he would buy with points.

Slayer

  • (1:02) For the zygomite task Gnomonkey brings prayer potions, a quest cape to teleport via fairy ring, a divine super set, a holy wrench to save prayer potions, a Saradomin godsword (handy but not necessary), and a desert amulet to restore stats after the task.
  • (1:02) Alternatives to the quest cape for reaching the area are slayer rings or a necklace of passage to the Wizards' Tower; zygomites technically drop gems and herbs but Gnomonkey has never seen one, so the sacks are not needed.
