Topics covered
Inferno
- (0:00) Gnomonkey did an Inferno with a crossbow as a reward for the stream reaching its 150 sub goal in Subtember, without bothering to scuff the shield and failing a couple of attempts before succeeding.
- (0:00) Gnomonkey says the Jad fights in this run were buttery smooth, and that he used the Toxic blowpipe for much of the wave clearing while taking out the crossbow a few times within the waves.
- (6:35) Gnomonkey says he had never cleared an Inferno without Justiciar-style gear (as transcribed 'Justy') before and felt this was the day he finally could.
- (25:22) Gnomonkey explains that a corner breaking line of sight is called a corner trap, and that a monster will always move west or east before moving north or south, and if it cannot it will sit there.
- (35:11) Gnomonkey notes that you cannot tick-eat two rangers shooting at once; at 41 health both could have hit 41 and dealt 82 in a single hit.
- (44:00) Gnomonkey keeps his Zuk final-phase approach simple, killing the sets at long range to be safe and then finishing Zuk.
- (47:27) Gnomonkey completed this ranged crossbow Inferno in two seconds under 70 minutes, which he calls a sub-70 RCB run off task (he had no slayer task for it).
- (48:13) In this Inferno run, TzKal-Zuk took 3 minutes 58 seconds, which Gnomonkey says was almost as fast as his average Twisted bow runs thanks to Ruby bolt (e) procs; he says he has had worse Zuk times on task.
Ruby bolts (e)
- (0:00) Gnomonkey says Ruby bolt (e) procs carried this crossbow Inferno, making TzKal-Zuk nearly as fast as his average Twisted bow runs.
- (40:40) Gnomonkey says that in this run he is pretty sure the bolt procs at Zuk were diamond-level or better, and notes a missed damage chance where a ruby proc would have been big.
Subtember
- (0:00) The RCB Inferno was a reward the stream earned for reaching the 150 sub goal during Gnomonkey's Subtember event on Twitch.
- (0:00) Gnomonkey says the armour setup for this run was Blessed d'hide and other random bank gear plus a Volatile weapon and Crystal helm for the memes, and that he did not plan it out and just sent it.
- (0:00) Gnomonkey's description says further Subtember challenges would be announced on his Twitch and Discord.
Gnomonkey
- (14:24) Gnomonkey says he failed the Fight Kiln-style (Fight Caves equivalent) challenge on RS3, being unable to flick prayers against the orange mage before Jad even with a death touch start.
- (20:10) Gnomonkey says he found the Path of Glouphrie quest hard to handle despite using Quest Swapper, tile markers, ground markers and Sound Swapper.
